In 2004 the call went out to residents of Hartford. Too many kids were getting involved in high-risk behaviors and something needed to be done about it. Parents, students, business and civic leaders as well as members of the educational, faith, medical, recreation and law enforcement communities answered that call and Hartford Project Care was born. Youth plan and participate in alternative activities and volunteer in the community. Alternative Activities include things like the Annual Lock-In, Horicon Marsh Canoe Trip, Kalahari Indoor Water Park (WI Dells), and Cool Waters Trip. [ read more ]
New in 2005, this is a coalition of Kewaskum residents dedicated to helping area youth succeed. The introductory meeting was held February 22, 2005. For more information on this program, contact Linda Dymond at 262.335.6898.
Coordinates and supports community actions to prevent youth high-risk behaviors. The coalition goal is to improve the lives of all youth in Washington County by bringing individuals and organizations together to solve emerging problems too big for one group alone. [ read more ]
